About Us

Most of our work comes from Marina Del Rey homeowners who called once and kept the number. That is the whole business model, and it shapes how we treat a first visit.

You call or book online, and we give you an arrival window rather than a vague half-day promise. The tech calls when he's on the way. Before anything gets wet, he walks the rooms with you, looks at what's on the floor, and tells you what the job will run and why. If the number is higher than you expected, you'll hear the reason out loud: how many rooms, whether there's pet urine in the pad, whether the carpet is a cut-pile polyester that mats or a wool blend that needs a gentler approach, and whether stairs and closets are in the count. Nothing starts until you agree to it. We work in Marina Del Rey and the surrounding Westside, and most jobs are a single visit.

We're in the Southern California coastal basin: Santa Monica Bay on the west, the LA Basin flats inland, Santa Monica Mountains to the north. Carpet here loads up three ways. There's no rain for six to eight months, so soil arrives as dry grit and silty urban dust instead of mud, and it grinds at the fiber base where a vacuum can't reach. Marine-layer humidity stretches drying times and feeds musty odor in closed condo units and over-padded slab floors. And the housing stock is all over the map, from 1920s bungalows with rugs over oak to 1960s-80s stucco apartment blocks carpeted wall-to-wall on concrete. Beach sand abrades; inland soot and fine dust settle in. Santa Ana events push more of it indoors. Most of our calls are rental turnovers, apartment dogs, and that slab-floor smell that comes back every June. On a slab there's no airflow under the carpet, so moisture sits against the pad. That's why drying matters more here than it does in most of the country.

The crew runs a truck-mounted unit, which keeps the heat and the vacuum strong at the wand. We dry vacuum first to pull the grit out, pre-spray and agitate so the chemistry has time to work and the pile stands back up, then make the extraction pass and set air movers before we leave. For most synthetic carpet, like Shaw, Mohawk, Stainmaster, and Anderson Tuftex, hot water extraction is the right call, and you can read more on our steam carpet cleaning page. For wool and for Karastan or Masland goods that shrink or brown, we go low-moisture with controlled solution. Same thinking on upholstery cleaning, where the backing matters more than the face fiber. When a seam has let go, a pet has chewed an edge, or a burn needs a patch, that's carpet repair, not cleaning, and we'll say so. We'll also tell you when a stain is permanent. Bleach, old pet damage that's dyed the backing, and some dye transfers are not coming out, and you're better off hearing that before we charge you to try.

Our service area

We cover Marina Del Rey and the surrounding towns. If you're in one of these areas and have a carpet cleaning problem, call us. We usually get out the same day.

How do we decide whether your carpet is worth cleaning?

We answer that before the hoses come off the truck. Sand and dry urban grit do real damage here. Beach-city soil is abrasive. It saws at fiber tips over years of foot traffic. Scratched tips scatter light and read as gray. No cleaner restores that. If the traffic lane is abraded rather than soiled, we say so and you keep your money.

You can check it yourself. Pinch the pile in a hallway and twist it. Soiled carpet releases dark grit onto your fingers. Worn carpet feels fuzzy and splayed, and leaves nothing. Compare it to carpet under a sofa.

Slab construction changes the odor call. Most Westside homes have no basement, so pad sits straight on concrete. Pet urine passes through pad and pools against the slab. Surface cleaning returns it in a week. We lift a corner and look. Stained pad means pad replacement, not another cleaning pass.

Marine-layer humidity drags out drying in closed condo units. Over-padded floors hold water longer than anyone expects. If a unit cannot be aired out, we schedule lighter moisture and more airflow instead of pretending the standard pass works.

Rental turnovers get the same honesty. Sometimes replacement is the cheaper answer.
